Essential and Premium Licences are only available in products published in 2025 and beyond.

A new Oxford Digital Experience is launching for back-to-school in 2025, allowing you to choose between Essential or Premium access. 

If you have purchased a student book with an Essential access code, or purchased Essential access as a standalone digital product, you can upgrade to Premium access at any point by purchasing a Premium upgrade code for $10.00 from our website. 

Instructions

Please note: the instructions below feature a teacher account with teacher licences and are being used for demonstration purposes only. Teacher access cannot be purchased; provisioning eligibility must be approved by an OUP Consultant based on your school's booklist.

Once you have received an order confirmation with your Premium upgrade code enclosed, log in to Oxford Digital.

From your library, select the title you will be upgrading.

On the title's landing page, your access level will be indicated in the top right-hand corner. 

Click on the down arrow to open the details and options panel. Then click 'Upgrade to Premium'.

The next page will describe the product you're currently using, and prompt you to enter your Premium upgrade code at the bottom of the screen. 

Once you have entered the code, click 'Upgrade

The page will then inform you whether the upgrade was successful. If there are any typos, the code will not work. 

Once your upgrade is successful, return to you library to launch the title with Premium access.
