Follow the steps below in your Oxford Owl account to easily see all the key features and how to access teaching and learning materials in Oxford Maths for NSW/AC/WA.

Accessing your product

Log in and select your Oxford Maths text from the library.

The welcome page is displayed, including:

• Home
• Resources
• Assigned Work
• Reports

Resources: Curriculum planners, Term planners and Teacher notes

• Click Resources.
• Clear filters and select Curriculum planners, Term planners and Teacher notes.

• The Curriculum planner includes Syllabus outcomes and content descriptions, by strand and focus area for each topic (in each unit) for the year level. Term planners include a suggested sequence for teaching for each term. Teacher notes include lesson plans and teaching activities.

  

Review by topic

• In Home, click READ located at the bottom of the student book image. The contents for that Year level (by unit and all topics) will be displayed. For example, for Year 4, click on Unit 1 Topic. The student book pages will be displayed.
• Click Resources. All resources will be displayed for the topic, including teacher notes, activity sheets, black line masters, pre- and post-tests, quizzes, teacher interactive, student support notes and video. Click any resources to review each resource.
• Click X at the top to return Home.
• 

Assigning work

• In Home, click Assigned work.
• In Class filter, select the class you wish to view. Here, review:
  • Tasks assigned to students in the class.
  • Tasks completed or yet to be completed.
  • Start date and due date for tasks.
  • Resource and type of task.
  • Any notes from the teacher to student.

Reports

• In Home, click Reports.
• In Class filter, select the class you wish to view.
• Assessment report unit overview (table) appears and displays the post-test average for each unit for each student.
  • Select U1 Column in the table and all pre- and post-tests for each topic in Unit 1 will be displayed. From Unit view, select a topic to review further. Select topic name and the report will display the pre- and post-test and quiz result for the topic for each student
  • Click student name to view student answers.

Additional planning tools

• The Resources include all resources available for the year level.
  • Filter to view types of resources in alphabetical order.
  • Use Clear tool and select the resource type.
