Oxford Owl will soon be part of Oxford Digital

Why is Oxford Owl changing?  

Oxford Owl is evolving into Oxford Digital, bringing trusted content, and exciting new enhancements together in a new-look platform. You'll find the familiar resources you rely on, alongside smarter tools and a more intuitive interface designed to support your daily teaching practice. 

What will change for Oxford Owl users?  

The main change is that you will begin accessing your familiar Oxford Owl resources through Oxford Digital. Initially, Oxford Digital will feature a new-look Hub that replaces the Library and is designed to make resources and tasks like marking and assignments easier to find. Over the next few months, further changes will be introduced to improve resource navigation, search, and accessibility. 

Can I still use my Oxford Owl login?  

Yes, you can! Your access to the platform will remain the same. 

When will I see the new experience?  

The rollout will happen in stages. From Term 4 2026, teachers will be able to try the new Hub via a toggle. During this time, you will be able to switch back to the current experience at any time. Your saved and assigned work will not be impacted when switching back and forth. 

From Term 1 2027, the full Oxford Digital experience will be available, including improvements to how you navigate through your resources. 

Will my existing Oxford Owl resources still be available?  

Please ask your school administrator to confirm your selected programs for 2027 so we can ensure all teachers maintain uninterrupted access and can continue planning with confidence for the 2027 academic year.

Will students see any changes? 

Students with an Oxford Owl library will be moved to Oxford Digital in Term 1 2027. They won’t have the option to toggle back and forth.
