While exploring the new Oxford Digital platform, you may have noticed that your course content is not marked by page numbers that correspond to your printed textbook.
Why is this?
To cater for a wider range of accessibility needs, course content is now reflowable, meaning you can adapt how it presents on your device to best suit your individual preferences. You can adjust the presentation with:

Single page view
Font size adjustment tool
To make reflowable text possible, our content needs to be dynamic. We cannot assign page numbers to the content like we would in a traditional page spread since the pages would look different between users. So, while the courses hosted on the new Oxford Digital contain all the content that is included in your textbook, page numbers are not part of the user interface by design.
It is important to bear in mind that this content is presented as a course to be completed in a structured sequence that accompanies the textbook and is not a carbon copy of the textbook spread. This change has been made in accordance with user feedback, which has indicated that zooming in on static page spreads is not accessible for the visually impaired, nor is it optimal for classroom use.
How do I find what I'm looking for without the page numbers?
We understand that finding the digital content that aligns with your print textbook may take some getting used to. We suggest navigating to the Module and Lesson from the course's table of contents (Fig. 4) as indicated by your textbook, then using the lesson progression map provided to the right of your screen (Fig. 5) to jump to a specific question or passage.
