Introduction
As with the previous version of Oxford Digital for secondary, teachers are able to create, assign and manage assignments to collect student data on key learning points in the syllabus. Now, teachers can easily track how their classes are travelling and make edits to their assignments.
Jump to:
Filtering Assignments
All assignments, both active and expired, can be found under 'Assigned work' in the left bar menu on your screen. You can view any class in which you are listed as a teacher.
To begin, select a class:
Once you have selected a class you can filter to find your assignment based on status (whether it has been completed or is active) and/or the date it is due.
To reset your filter, remove a condition or click 'Reset filters'.
Viewing Assignment Details
Viewing the Year 10 class, we can see they have two active assignments. Each assignment shows an overview including how many students have completed it so far, the dates it has been set for and the date it was created. If we click 'Show' on one of them, we can view its details.
You can toggle between 'Resources', 'Students' and 'Notes'.
All resources are listed and can be opened or launched from the assignment details.
The students who have been added to this assignment are listed and flagged once they have completed their tasks.
If any notes have been specified they will appear here.
